Aura in the Meatpacking District

Over the past two weeks, I’ve seen and heard one word all over Instagram and TikTok: “Aura.” It’s a trend where each individual consists of an aura. Points measure this aura, and you lose or gain points with each of life’s experiences. We’ve had many an experience, and if we’re known for anything at all, it’s our AURA.

Two weeks ago, we hosted a pharmaceutical conference, Impatient Health’s Pharmageddon USA 2024. Speaking of aura, ouch, not so great in the pharmaceutical industry. So then, why our space? It wasn’t about corporate rigidity; it was about resonance. The conference sought a setting aligned with its mission—to disrupt and rebuild the pharmaceutical industry holistically. Its workshops over a two-day period included, among many things, Lego blocks and bananas. They were looking for the right space with the right setting, design, people, mindset, and most importantly, energy, all comprising our aura here at Triangle Loft.

The conference occupied our spaces on both the 5th and 4th floors. The 5th with its polished and artsy interior was used for the panels, workshops, and meetings. The 4th with its light and airy vibe was used for the lunch reception and networking. The lunch was prepared by our in-house culinary team for both days of the conference, and it was truly an exquisite spread. We also work exclusively with our trusted partners, @Print By Pop, who created the vinyl branding for the space, and Canal Sound and Light, who brought to the event, the client’s audio-visual needs. At Triangle Loft, we’re all about creating the aura that you seek, we bring a full-service production to you and as our creator, Karen likes to often say, “We’re scrappy but we’re buttoned up, we really are!”

We offer a dynamic experience like no other, we’re shaped like a triangle and it couldn’t be more apparent as soon as you stepped in. Fun fact, a triangle is the strongest shape. Here, we prioritize art, the community, and construct a gatekept experience significant to each client. In terms of production, there really wasn’t anything groundbreaking to it. After all, it was still an industry conference, and our creative extent was to that of a classic white linen round table setting with a stage. However, the few things that were crafted, were thoughtful and intentional. Take, for instance, our specialty cocktail, aptly named “The Disruptor.” It wasn’t just a drink; it was a statement. A serrano pepper garnish added heat, mirroring the conference’s fiery purpose.

This new perception of the pharmaceutical world was reformed by a venue with vibe and creativity but poised with professional execution. We laid out a canvas, and our client so beautifully elevated it; they brought in a saxophonist to go with the DJ, and the lead moderator at the panel brought in his own electric piano for a special performance. Our space allows you to be free, express yourself, and most importantly, have a good time. Do you want to experience our AURA?
